Terri Lee

Spark Plug

Terri’s moniker at Philosophy is Spark Plug. Why? She ignites concepts, ideas and strategies. Plus, she likes to make sure projects run as smoothly as a well-tuned Ferrari. Vroom, vroom.

Terri brings passion and creative energy to the business consulting side of account management. Throughout her career Terri has led global teams and delivered ROI to business leaders. Her natural strengths are in continually learning many varied topics plus analyzing and conceptualizing new paths to solve problems – along with establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders. She develops strong positive relationships both internally with team members, cross-functional collaborators and externally with client teams.

Terri has worked in many industries, from tech (such as Microsoft) to healthcare (engineering acquisition of a regional hospital within a larger healthcare network system); real estate (Landmark, CBRE) and financial services (Merrill Lynch, Oppenheimer); luxury spas (Elixir) to retail luxury brands (currently supporting Sub-Zero, Wolf and Cove; previously launched the Evian brand into the U.S.) — and for companies of all sizes, from Fortune 100 to franchises to startups.

She Initiated and nurtured a new partnership relationship with luxury brand Audi in Southern California to produce a Live & Learn experience between Audi and our client Sub-Zero, Wolf and Cove to ultimately benefit their end-consumer. Terri also spearheaded and managed a team of experts to produce a social media program with robust results for the Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove brand in their leading national Costa Mesa showroom.

Terri helped Tundra, the leader in national restaurant supply, equipment and parts, develop a comprehensive TundraCare strategic plan that grew sales 120% within six months.

Her tech background helped Terri and her team develop a strategic digital marketing program that doubled sales leads in first two months for Ecteon, a national leader of contract management software.

Before joining Philosophy, Terri owned a full-service agency called Lively Marketing (one of the first virtual agencies in the country) for 10 years. The firm won the New York Video & Film Festival’s World Medal. She won national Hermes and Davey awards for originating a brainy, fun, viral-worthy and tech-savvy concept celebrating electronic device use and artificial intelligence for Archos, a French multinational electronics company, well-known outside the U.S. as a competitor to Apple.

Earlier, as Sales & Marketing Director for Nupremis, Terri helped drive the company’s revenue growth from $1M to $30M in one year, earning Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 Award. She helped develop the first online presence and content for MediZine, a trusted national leader in consumer health and wellness information. And she helped design and execute a secure intranet portal with end-user-friendly content and navigation for Qwest Communications. Within the health and wellness industry, she helped create a national ecommerce site for Essentiel Elements, a consumer beauty products company.

Of all the various roles in her life, Terri is most proud of being mom to a wonderful, smart, beautiful, strongly opinionated and talented teen who is developing into a fine young woman.

She has served on multiple boards of directors and committees, including the Business Marketing Association, and as a Board Member and CEO Selection Committee Member with the Sister Carmen Community Center, as well as a CEO Leadership Committee Member, Healthcare Committee Member, and Transportation Committee Member with the Denver Chamber of Commerce. She currently helps with fundraising for several Boulder Valley District schools.

Terri’s formal education and professional development entails three years toward a BA, Ethics, Social and Political Philosophy with a Journalism Minor, University of Massachusetts, Boston, including a one-year exchange at Harvard University, JFK School of Government, and gaining designation as a Certified Business Communicator (CBC) through the Business Marketing Association.
