Tera Haselden Keatts

Cultivator

Tera Haselden Keatts has spent more than a decade with Philosophy Communication. Prior to joining Philosophy, first as an account manager and now as a partner, she worked on both the agency and client side of the marketing and communications industry and has a deep knowledge, understanding and appreciation for what her clients need and want. Sometimes we think she’s a mind-reader! Clients appreciate her polished, poised and prudent presentation and consider her part of their company family. She personally invests time in her clients’ passions and interests to show how much she appreciates, values and respects those she works for and with.

Tera began her career with Saatchi & Saatchi, a global advertising agency, working on the Toyota account. She supported the concepting and production of television, radio and print advertising; managed the automotive company’s online sales and inventory site; and strategically helped develop advertising strategies and campaigns for local Toyota dealers in the Rocky Mountain region. Tera then transitioned to in-house, corporate communications for Consumer Capital Partners, the unique private investment, concept development firm behind brands such as Smashburger and Quiznos. On the client side, Tera learned the ins and outs of restaurant marketing and value of strategic partnerships with communications experts. Armed with a new-found understanding and respect for the challenge’s clients face, Tera returned to the agency world and joined Philosophy Communication.

At Philosophy, Tera has worked on and strategically grown accounts across many industries, including food and agriculture, government, education, energy (solar and renewable energy), retail, technology, construction and nonprofit. As an Innovator, Tera is known for taking out-of-the box ideas and turning them into award-winning campaigns. She literally wrapped a vehicle with Colorado-grown fruits and vegetables for the Colorado Proud “Follow Your Fruits and Veggies Journey” campaign that created buzz as Coloradans followed the vehicle’s journey across the state. She’s launched new restaurants and menus, opened museums and educational institutions, and implemented regional and national marketing and communications campaigns. She even executed a flash mob at Invesco Field (now Empower Field at Mile High) and the Pepsi Center in Denver to launch a new, fresh, flavorful TGI Friday’s menu.

In her spare time (ha!), Tera can be found chasing two young boys around, taking to the ski slopes, or exploring the globe with her husband and family. As a former ski racer, Tera has a bucket list goal to ski on all seven continents – three down, four to go!

Tera holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication and a Bachelor of Science degree from the Leeds School of Business from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
