Katie started her career in the insurance industry, moved to Colorado after a ski vacation, and worked for Disney and ESPN Media Networks in content distribution for over a decade. As a Senior Director, National Accounts, Katie negotiated contracts with large media companies with significant revenue impact for The Walt Disney Company and managed partnership-marketing programs. One of the most exciting programs she successfully executed was the production of the first ESPN Sports Center Fan Experience in a professional sporting arena with AT&T Broadband at Mile High Stadium in Denver, Colorado. She even had to wear a hard hat for this project as they were building the ESPN set during construction of the new stadium!
Katie deeply enjoys and has a proven ability to develop and maintain client and internal relationships and successfully manage projects from inception to completion across various cross-functional teams. As an account manager, she is a team player and an authentic leader, always putting the client at the heart of her work. She is a collaborative leader who knows how to motivate others to successfully develop and execute business strategy objectives.
Katie is one of ten women accepted into the annual Betsy Magness Leadership Institute that is recognized as the flagship leader development program of the cable and telecommunications industry.
Katie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Penn State.
