Jennifer Malchiodi
Builder
Jennifer Malchiodi comes to Philosophy Communication with more than 25 years of marketing experience, ranging from the ad agency world, to education publishing, to not-for-profit work both in the U.S. and internationally. As a “builder,” Jennifer thrives on forming close-knit relationships with the people she works with, many of whom have become life-long friends. Not only is Jennifer relationship-focused, she’s always looking forward to her next challenge. That ambition has been the impetus for her diverse background, which boasts experience in marketing, program development, and corporate responsibility in industries like nonprofit, education, and youth advocacy. Her history, both working for corporations and a decade spent running her own consulting business, has bolstered her skills and reaffirmed her life passion for bringing people together for the common good.
Jennifer’s skills include program management, conference and trade show strategy, fundraising, grant and scholarship program management, and community events. She is detail- and team-oriented, with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully manage large teams and multiple projects simultaneously, while understanding stakeholder needs and revenue goals. Having had the good fortune to work with amazing leaders over her career, Jennifer has learned that when you challenge a client to be brave and imaginative, great work follows.
How many people do you know who were nominated for a (Student) Academy Award, or were part of a Guinness World Record? Well, now you know at least one of each, since Jennifer can claim both distinctions (and we’re not afraid to brag about it for her). Though she takes pride in all the work she does, among her proudest accomplishments are the marketing programs she spearheaded to fund schooling for thousands of girls in the Middle East.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Communications and Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in Documentary Film Production, and a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing, from Loyola Marymount University.
