 Go for the Gold for the Town of FriscoThe Town of Frisco calls on Philosophy Communication to promote its events throughout the year. However, some events tend to take center stage  – as well as more budget (gold) than others. Philosophy created this inexpensive package to promote the 39th annual Salomon Gold Rush weekend, commemorating Frisco’s rich gold mining history. This simple burlap sack, gold coins and press release got the message across to reporters quickly and highlighted the weekend’s family fun, including dog sled rides, fireworks, a community bonfire and Nordic races. The quick campaign resulted in more than six media hits landing in both print and broadcast local media. And the best part,  the campaign got attention without breaking the bank.
