Girls Only media kit – Introducing denver to The secret comedy of women

Girls Only – The Secret Comedy of Women hired Philosophy Communication to launch the play and handle publicity efforts. The play, a lighthearted romp through all things girly, draws on universal experiences of women. Girls Only success grew, so it risked being just another production of Denver Center Attractions. It needed to solidify its identity, yet continue to push the envelope to remain fresh. Philosophy updated the home-made logo to be more professional and applicable to posters and marquees.

With a tight budget, media relations made sense to accomplish our goals. Each day, media get hundreds of news releases, talking about the newest production. Cutting through the clutter would be key to success. Building off of a scene from the play, we created a bouquet of “flowers” out of feminine products, complete with a tampon bumble bee. We wrapped the bouquet with our news release and targeted entertainment and lifestyle editors.
