Box Appliance is a California-based factory certified repair service for Sub-Zero and Wolf products. After 30 years in business, Philosophy helped rebrand their company to be alignment with the Sub-Zero and Wolf brands. This helped consumers make a stronger connection with Box and set up an expectation for quality service and price. We used a stylized “BA” icon that created two 3D boxes to emphasize their long-standing name in the marketplace. The typefaces used are from the same type family as Sub-Zero and Wolf’s to create visual alignment. The resulting logo helps them stand out among the dozens of non-certified service companies throughout their market.

After creating the brand mark, we designed their new van wrap graphics to be in alignment with their new look. The back doors of the van were designed to look open to reveal the contents of the van. Because Box Appliance is the only Sub-Zero and Wolf factory-certified service company in their area, they are experts in the their brands and stock their vans with anything they would need on service calls. The “full van” concept gets a lot of attention on the highway and communicates they’ll never have to go back to the warehouse for a part to complete your repair.  The vans are clean, Sub Zero and Wolf  co branded and suggest a higher level of service.
